The Discovery Channel‘s video of a bison and her calf’s encounter with three wolves is so intense. The pair were separated from their herd and had to fend for their lives. The dedication the mama bison has to keep her baby safe is extraordinary. But in order to survive, the baby needed to learn how to defend itself. Mama was doing a great job, but it seemed as though the wolves would win this fight. That is until the calf landed a kick on one of the wolves. It was game over after that. The bison and her calf made it back to their herd. Don’t you love happy endings?
