Alien Gear has been working really hard for over three years now on the Rapid Force Duty Holster with well over a million dollars in R&D. They’ve worked with 1000s of police officers and are starting to outfit large departments with this holster—with it being received very well. Alien Gear designed this holster with what they call the gross motor response technology. So, in a high stress situation, what you have is a loss of fine motor control. They designed the duty holster around a gripping motion, that’s smooth, and where you’re not opening your hand as you’re actuating your different levels. With this holster you’ve got three levels of holster retention, and it’s got different connections:
- Belt Slide – fits duty belts up to 3 inches wide and is available in low ride, mid ride, and high ride configurations for the perfect ride height.
- Paddle – fits belts up to 1 ¾ inches wide and is perfect for on-duty, off-duty, or plain clothes use. The paddle has a wide base and retention lips to keep the holster securely in place.
- MOLLE – fits any webbing and is perfect for getting your duty holster off of your waist.
- Drop Leg – the drop leg configuration frees up space on your duty belt, gives you the easiest access to your firearm, and comes with mounting plates to mount additional accessories on both sides of the holster.
