Rescuers down in Louisana’s twenty-some flooded parishes aren’t only going after people trapped by the rising waters, they’re also on the lookout for our helpless four-legged friends as well. In Sorrento, this detachment of amateur rescuers set their sights on a goat swept away by the water and trapped in a dilapidated barn, and a Labrador retriever caught up in some chicken wire. No doubt these two animals were grateful these men showed up when they did.
