Bear who only walks on two legs after losing front paw survives another year

Pedals, the bipedal bear, was discovered roaming rural New Jersey in 2014. After losing his right front leg, Pedals lost the ability to walk on all fours like a normal Bruin. After his first sighting, many people doubted he would last the winter. New Jersey resident Joey Esposito encountered the now legendary bear on June 20, 2016 and took the video shown below. This is one of the clearest videos ever captured of the bear who quickly rose to fame throughout New Jersey. A small group of residents living in a neighborhood frequently visited by Pedals is attempting to raise money hoping to capture and transport him to a wildlife sanctuary in upstate New York.
