Build your own ANTLER TRAP to gather deer sheds

Hunting for antler sheds can be a peaceful time in the woods, but some folks don’t have the property to roam or the time to do it. Here is a technique to collect drops that has proven successful for some outdoorsmen. Short wooden posts are hammered in the ground around some bait. As the dear reach for the bait their antlers will be caught and release into the trap. If they are not ready, they can just lift their head out of the trap. DO NOT use any type of metal wire or ANYTHING that could possibly cause the deer to be harmed or trapped. If their antlers are not ready to fall, the deer should still be able to safely enter and exit the baited area.
