Century Arms MKE AP5 – Sootch00 Review
The Century Arms MKE AP5 Pistol is based on the HK MP5 and made on HK Machinery in Turkey. The AP5, or “Apparatus Pistol,” is a roller delayed blowback firearm based and built off of the original and historical design from the 1970s. One of the reasons the Century Arms MKE AP5 is so widely used is because it has the delayed roller lock blowback action. This roller-delayed blowback action makes it one of the smoothest shootings PDW’s on the market.

Each model of the Century Arms MKE AP5 includes a standard: rugged plastic carry case, two (2) 30-round magazines, a factory cleaning kit, factory Picatinny style optics mount, factory sling, and a gun lock. All AP5 firearms are chambered in 9×19 mm and have a cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:9.8″ twist. The AP5 and AP5-P barrel have a 3-lug quick attachment and 1/2×28 threaded end for suppressor mounting options.
The quality and engineering behind this pistol are hard to beat. This design is sharp and smooth shooting, and the controls are fast to learn. The sites are easy to see, and how sharpshooting the pistol is makes it that much fun to shoot.
