Dazed buck fights driver of car which struck it on the road

It was bad enough for Ellen Sager of Howell, New Jersey that she accidentally struck a deer on the road. When she pulled over to assess the damage, she had no idea that her night was going to end with her having to fight off the very same buck she just hit. Panicked and in a daze from the impact, the buck charged her car as Sager was exiting the vehicle, and began to scuffle with her. Sager thought fast and kicked the deer clear of her door, suffering a knee injury in the fight. The whole thing was captured on a Howell Township Police Department cruiser’s dashcam, and thankfully for Ellen Sager the officer was nearby to assist in the emergency. The deer died as result of injuries sustained from the initial impact, authorities said.
