Dolphins catch puffer fish and use their poison for THIS weird activity

Not only are dolphins one of the only species on the planet besides human beings that get intimate for their own enjoyment, they’re also one of the only species that like to kick back and relax with a little natural recreation. The puffer fish, or blowfish, as it’s more colloquially known, secretes a deadly poison when it’s threatened as a serious defense mechanism. Human chefs have figured out how to properly prepare the fish so that its natural neurotoxin yields only a pleasing numbing effect. Dolphins have also figured a use for the otherwise deadly poison, and are known to consume the puffer fish and its neurotoxin for the narcotic effect it has on them. Pretty far out stuff.
