If you’ve never shot a pistol cartridge out of a lever action gun, it is definitely something you have to try for sure. HammerDown is designed specifically for lever guns. Federal Ammunition worked with Henry to help design it. The biggest benefit here would be a chamfered rim on the case which helps with loading on the side gate. HammerDown uses all premium components, especially the nickel-plated case for smooth operation and all of them have hunting bullets that will perform awesome on game. There’s not a lot of lever action guns that really have bonded bullets, but this does.
