Here’s a great video from RealTreeOutdoors that shows a female hunter’s joy and excitement as she harvest her very first deer!
“The hunt is really tough right now because there are so many acorns on the ground and the deer are [staying] close to their bedding areas”, says Josh Honeycutt. Josh, his wife Katheryn and their friend Matt, patiently wait all afternoon in their tree stand for a deer to show up.

The afternoon light starts to ebb away into evening. But about two minutes into the legal shooting light, a buck comes along and Katheryn gets ready.
Watch the video as she brings down her very first buck. Her excitement is incredibly contagious as is the big smile on her face.
