Today, we’re taking an in-depth look at the Strikeman Dry Fire Laser Target System and let me tell you, if you are shooting low left, you need this system.
All kidding aside, dry-fire training works. There’s a reason that every professional, competition, and high-end shooter does dry-fire constantly. It improves your skills, helps maintain muscle memory, is much cheaper than shooting live-fire ammo, and you can do it in the comfort of your own home.

Whether you are a brand-new shooter and you are shooting low left or if you are a more experienced shooter with a few habits to break, dry-fire training will help at every skill level but the Strikeman Dry-Fire Laser Firearm Training System will definitely speed up that process.
Let’s break it down!
THE STRIKEMAN LASER FIREARM TRAINING SYSTEM
Within Strikeman’s A+ packaging, this particular system includes one Laser Bullet, one Target, one adjustable smartphone holder, a user manual, and access to the Strikeman App which is available on both the Apple Store and Google Play. They also include two suction cups if you would rather hang your target rather than use the (included) base.

The laser cartridge I’m testing today is in 9 MM but Strikeman has multiple calibers to choose from on their website including .380 ACP, .40 S&W, 10 MM, .223/5.56, 12 Gauge, and more, so you’re not limited in that aspect at all. Today, I’m kicking things off with my 9 MM Gucci Glock to show you how this system works so let’s dive in!
REAL-TIME FEEDBACK ON DRY FIRE TRAINING
Getting on target is quick and easy, thanks to Strikeman’s user-friendly app and intuitive training system. Although my red dot was dead (the levels of embarrassment on that one run deep, my friends), I was still able to shoot the first timed session successfully. That brings up another point – dry fire training does help identify issues with your grip, trigger finger, and shot but it also (obviously) helps you identify potential issues with your gear, like a red dot with a dead battery.

PRO TIP: You should always be able to hit your target using just the sights on your firearm. That way, if your red dot, laser, or scope malfunctions, you’re still able to successfully stop a threat if need be.
Strikeman also provides training metrics on their app which allows users to see how they are progressing with additional training. The improvement of getting on target successfully is often what drives training, so that’s great.
CONCLUSION
The Strikeman Dry Fire Training System is an economical way to supplement your live fire training. It’s easy to set up, saves money on ammunition, and allows users to safely train in the comfort of their own homes. This is definitely a solid investment for your range bag!
