We take a quick first look at the Colt Competition Pistol. This pistol is available in .45 ACP, 9mm and .38 Super. Colt created this pistol as a “Blank Canvas” so the shooter could customize it to their tastes. The basic Features are: Fiber Optic Front Sight, Beavertail Grip Safety, G-10 Grips, Extended Thumb Safety, Adjustable Novak Rear Sights and Lightweight Aluminum Trigger. When the Colt Competition Pistol first came out it was a Series 80, it is now shipping in Series 70. This, IMHO is a huge upgrade for the series.
