Diver Jamie Hugg strapped his GoPro to his speargun and dove into the ocean thinking he would capture some good footage of a day of spearfishing, but could not have imagined just how close he would come to losing his life. A roaming Great White shark apparently mistook him for a seal, banging into him from behind with a serious blow, then cutting back around. Hugg thought quickly and stabbed the shark with his speargun, sending the predator away. It wasn’t until he was swimming back to the boat that he realized the shark had bitten him in the right foot, breaking two of his toes and leaving him with a laceration on his right foot.
