He makes a weird survival burger. The ‘meat’ source? Ugh!

You may have eaten a few weird things in your life, rocky mountain oysters, or some strange seafood, but could you eat a burger patty made from midge flies? During their mating season on the shores of Lake Victoria in Africa, the midge flies swarm by the hundreds of thousands. Residents of local villages use this opportunity to catch them and compound them into protein patties, which they then cook and eat.
