This poor buffalo never had a chance. He’s lapping up what moisture he can when just one Komodo Dragon hunts him down. It’s a slow chase but eventually the dragon has the chance to give one bite, all it needs, to begin the real hunt. The wound attracts other dragons like blood attracts sharks. They cling to the buffalo for several days and never let it out of their sights. Eventually the buffalo succumbs to the poison cocktail delivered by that one bite several days earlier and the dragons feast.
