Hickok45 is back with another firearm safety demonstration, this time we’re looking at revolvers. The focus of this video is revealing the danger of blocking the cylinder gap of any revolver. Hickok demonstrates with a snub nose .44 Magnum and a few pieces of target paper. As the pressure and burning powder from the discharge are released, the cylinder gap becomes incredibly dangerous for the shooter and spectators adjacent to the line of fire. Hickok notes in the YouTube comments that the muzzle blast has some effect, but the gas discharge from the gap is clearly evident.
