Hunting themed Arby’s runs out of deer meat on the first day

Arby’s made big news in the hunting community when they announced a limited time offer for venison sandwiches, but they didn’t expect supplies to be quite so limited. Seventeen Arby’s scattered across the south and south-east United States sold their deer meat special for a couple days at the beginning of November with wild success. An Arby’s in Tennessee went all out for the event completely covering their exterior in camo paint. Unfortunately they were completely sold out before the end of the first day.

While the sale of wild game in restaurants is still prohibited, these venison steaks are USDA approved and were imported from a game farm in New Zealand. Unlike most of Arby’s shaved meat sandwiches, the venison steak was a 5.5 oz. cut of meat offered on a bun with friend onions and Arby’s signature sauce.

The venison steak tour is almost over, but there’s still time to try one if live in either Michigan or Pennsylvania. Make sure you get there early, these sandwiches won’t be there for long!
