Kayaking couple get engaged through time capsule proposal at their favorite campsite

Five years ago, kayakers Jennifer Storrar and Troy Reddington buried a time capsule of their relationship at their favorite campsite in South River, Ontario. When they opened it back up again, a small note had appeared for Jennifer, reading “Will you marry me?” Needless to say, she was stunned. When the couple buried the time capsule, Reddington had the idea for the proposal, but wasn’t quite ready to pop the question. So he waited until they located the capsule, years later., and snuck out ahead of his girlfriend the day they were supposed to dig it up and added his questions to its contents.
