Deputies were alerted to the sound of live ammunition going off in a field. They arrived to find a vehicle loaded with ammunition engulfed in flames. The owner of the vehicle had attempted to extinguish a garbage fire with his car, failed, and fled when the tires caught fire. The deputies found the man viewing the carnage from a distance.
