This mountain lion killed in Idaho has a strange deformation that appears to be extra teeth and whiskers growing out of its skull. A hunter had tracked the bizarre creature to the border of Utah and Idaho after it attacked a dog near Preston, Idaho. Photos of the big cat show fully formed fangs protruding above its left eye. Wildlife officials were baffled by the deformity, but they have verified it is no hoax. Until the growth itself undergoes a laboratory analysis officials can only speculate the cause. They believe this may be the result of a conjoined twin absorbed in utero or some form of “teratoma” tumor known to grown teeth and hair in soft tissue.
