Octopus suddenly vanishes in a cloud of sand and ink after underwater ambush

This video taken on an waterproof GoPro captures the sudden ambush of an unsuspecting octopus by a hidden Ray. After swimming along near the sandy ocean floor, an octopus takes a break only to be swallowed whole buy a predator hiding beneath the sand. The attack is sudden and the octopus instinctively sprays ink into the water, but it’s already too late. By the time the could of sand and ink fades away the octopus has vanished.
