Sam Soholt is the mastermind behind Artemis, the incredible mobile hunting camp converted from an old school bus. The idea stemmed from him and his friends dreaming up what the ultimate hunting base camp would be like, driving across the country and hunting different game. They agreed a school bus would make for the perfect vessel.

It wasn’t until a few years later that Sam decided to bring it to life while using it to raise awareness about the importance of public land. He purchased the bus he named Artemis in Colorado, and drove it to South Dakota for the build. Without any formal training, Sam got all of his building instruction from YouTube videos, the bus came to be after about 8 months of work.

He plans to travel for the next year, hunting and fishing and enjoying the outdoors, in the name of Public Lands.
