Remember to make sure you’re handling your bass correctly before migration season

Fall is the perfect time for bass fishing as migration season gets into full swing, but you want to make sure you’re handling your catches correctly before you get out on the water. If you plan on snapping photos of your haul, make sure to have your camera at the ready to minimize the fish’s time out of water. Always support your catch with both hands when you draw them up onto your boat, and let the fish properly oxygenate just under the surface before you release it back into the water. Trust us, they’ll tell you when they’re ready to go.
