Montana researchers ran an electric current through this road-killed deer, and set up a field camera to record what happens when a hungry Montana Grizzly gets shocked by a free meal. The current is from a car battery that you can see hooked below the tree next to the deer corpse. Surprisingly, the bear tries multiple times to pull the deer down despite the shock. What the researcher didn’t count on was just how tenacious the grizzly would be in pursuit of his meal. Persistence is key.
