PISTOL REVIEW: The Incomparable CZ P-10C

The P-10 C Semi-Auto Pistol is an increasingly popular offering from CZ USA®. Released in 2017, the striker-fired P-10 series offers an incredible trigger, utilizing a dual trigger bar spring system that allows for a balanced, rearward movement.

With a clean, crisp reset and trigger break, this one will really grab your attention. The trigger also features a trigger blade safety, which is designed to prevent the trigger from breaking if dropped. Its fiber-reinforced polymer frame sits comfortably in the hand with excellent front strap and backstrap texture to assist in maintaining a solid grip foundation. Grip texture is also included on the forward thumb slats.

AT THE RANGE

When I picked up this pistol for the first time, I immediately noticed that the P10-C just fits in your hand. The ergonomics on this pistol are fantastic but CZ knows everyone’s grip is different, so they include additional backstraps to ensure everyone can create their best grip.

The deep beavertail is important to me because it allows a natural point of aim with the angle of the grip. Its aggressively textured grip is also a plus – with my time in the Marine Corps and law enforcement, I know that this is what you want when you get into certain shooting situations.

I love that it has a generous trigger well which is great for gloved hands to get proper trigger placement. The trigger also has an amazing reset, allowing you to keep your front sight on target and more rounds accurately downrange.

CONCLUSION:

From the grip to the sights to the crisp trigger, the CZ P-10C is an excellent firearm all the way around! Whether you’re looking for a new everyday carry pistol or a new handgun to add to your collection, I highly recommend adding the P10-C to your list of guns to test!
