Eric Clapton, yes that Eric Clapton, set a record for the largest salmon ever caught in the Vatnsdalsá river of North Iceland. The 71-year-old rock legend ran the fish for more than a kilometer before finally pulling it ashore. The massive fish was measured 108 cm long and weighed 28 lbs. The musician turned angler took a few choice photographs with the record-setting fish before returning it to the waters.
