Ruger Range Drills Season 2: One Shot Drill with Kyle Harth, Firearms Instructor, US Army Special Forces
For the One Shot Drill, Kyle demonstrates shooting from the compressed ready position (at the chest), extending & punching out, and shooting one round. This drill is important for: acquisition of sights as you push out, proper trigger control and accuracy. Once we’re comfortable with the movement, Kyle suggests adding a timed element as a way to measure your progress.
Kyle performs this drill with a Ruger Security 9 pistol. (Buy here)
