Tyler conducts an experiment to learn more about bass and their reaction to intruders. He compared live crawfish against fluke lures and found something interesting, the bass weren’t biting the crawfish. He was surprised given his previous success with the live bait. As the video shows, multiple bass either avoid the crawfish or just knock it around a bit, but the fluke has almost immediate success. He’s not sure whether this response is related to the bass mating cycle or if it’s just coincidence. Either way, the footage he capture of bass protecting their spawning beds is simply stunning.
