Lakomi was rescued from the wild at 8 months old, wearing a harness fit for an 8-week old pup, which her skin had fused itself over. The removal of the harness took many surgeries and many months of medications to allow her skin to regrow itself without infection. After she was healthy enough to be released into a wolf sanctuary, she routinely jumped and cleared her fences and behaved wildly and erratically, but now, after several months of therapy, Lakomi is one happy pup.
