Mount Hua Shan is near the city of Huayin in China and it’s probably the most dangerous hiking trail for tourists. It’s located on one of China’s “Five Great Mountains” and has a peak elevation point of 7,067 feet. That’s pretty high but that’s not what makes it particularly remarkable.
What makes this mountain unique is the hiking trail that leads people on foot on one of the most treacherous adventures you can find. The narrow pathways are no joke and many fatalities have been recorded throughout the history of tourism in the region according to Wikipedia.
What do you think? Would you hike it? I wouldn’t try it without a harness and a proper guide, that’s for sure.
