Cliff and Paul’s best friend and fishing buddy Ronnie passed away from cancer before they could go on their yearly trip to Jurassic Mountain Fishing Park in Thailand. So, after he was cremated, they used part of his ashes in their own special bait mixture, which they called “Purple Ronnie.” The resulting bait caught a 180 pound carp, which beat the one Ronnie caught the year before. What a way to honor a fallen friend.
