In the Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa, tourists captured footage of this pair of lionesses resting on a ridge. The lions turned to notice a pair of blesboks had mistakenly wandered into their sights. They immediately pounced on them but one of the blesboks chose to simply leap off the ridge to avoid the first lion. The second lion saw through their prey’s mistake and took to the air itself. She’s able to grab the animal in mid air and tear it back to the ground where they’re able to complete the kill.
