Watch how these people use their legs as bait to catch massive pythons

If you’re not a fan of snakes, this isn’t the video for you! In this part of Africa, hunting a large python successfully yields plenty of food so the indigenous people here have spent a lot of time finding out the most efficient want to ferret the snakes out. This method is definitely the craziest. One man, probably the guy who drew the short straw, covers his leg in a mash drawn from a root. He then wraps it in a gauze of sorts before sticking it into the ground. He and his friends wait and once a python starts consuming his foot, he’s picked out of the ground with the massive snake hanging off him. From there it’s easy to kill the snake and cut it off his foot.
