Weird South Pacific fishing method unlike anything you’ll see in the US

They’ve got a very particular system down when it comes to mass commercial fishing for skip jack tuna in the South Pacific. This is the most common type of tuna in all of the Pacific so it can always be fished. The water jets the boat shoots hides the shape of the boat from the while mimicking the noises of injured prey in the ocean. Once the tuna arrive they’re easily caught on a line and flipped backwards onto the deck of the ship. They’ve got this down to a science!
