When it comes to security, simple and affordable is hard to beat. The Ruger Security-9 is ideal for everyday carry and self-defense.

This pistol is a great option for a small, low profile handgun that’s perfect for EDC. It’s also going to be a perfect concealed carry option. The Security-9 is an attractive firearm overall and very stylistic in appearance. It has machine grips in the slide that allows for easier racking of the pistol. You’ve also got dovetailed, hi-vis sites. Ruger also offers different colors should you have different preferences that you can get separately if that’s what you wanted to do. Overall, the lower of the grip is very ergonomic, it’s also textured, so it has a real nice feel in your hand that is not too rough where it’s overly abrasive or anything like that. There is a picatinny rail should you want to attach a laser sight, or a flashlight or anything like that. A very cool thing that they have done with the Security-9 pistol is the integration into their PC series of Carbine and the PC Charger. This is the same magazine from the Security-9 that you can utilize in the Ruger PC Carbine or in the PC Charger. Just like that, you’ve got interchangeable components you don’t have to stockpile, an abundance of accessories, and it all works together. Overall, I think this is a great option and it’s going to be affordable.
