Shark cages are supposed to be pretty sturdy instruments right? Well tell that to a charging great white! These two photographers thought they had a great angle for a series of Great White shots when something horrifying happened. Great White sharks have a membrane that rolls over their eyes when they bite down. This makes them temporarily blind to anything in front of them. Once this shark grabbed the bait it rocketed forward and speared the diving cage! Since sharks can’t swim backwards it has no choice but to thrash around until it manages to get free. The problem is, that also destroys the only safety these divers have from becoming the next meal!
