When it comes to bartering and trading, security is of the utmost importance. Think about whether you trust the person you are bartering and trading with; do you want them at your house? Cleaning Products: Bleach and soap are such versatile tools for bartering. You can clean your water, your clothes, and other surfaces. Hygiene is essential in an SHTF situation.
Firestarters: Matches, lighters, and any other fire starters are all essential items. In these situations, you are going to have to be able to cook and start a fire. Fire is one of the essential survival tools. Lighters will run out of fuel; this will allow you to get more business with recurring customers. Also, grab some candles.
Batteries: Grab your standard batteries. Good quality batteries will last longer. They can last up to 10 years in storage.
