These hunters came across one truly bizarre and uncommon sight. They stumbled into this buck that was practically frozen solid. It doesn’t react at all as they approach it. Instead, it keeps its gaze fixed behind itself while they walk up. They even touch it and it barely blinks! A number of commentators are arguing that it’s likely this buck just ended a fight with another buck as it’s common practice to stare off in whatever direction their opponent left. They also suggest that since those fights typically involve so many blows to the head that if it actually did just go antler to antler with another buck just then, well, that might explain some of its delayed reaction as two hunters walk right up to it!
