When you think of zebras out in the wild you typically consider them walking meals, right? They’re prey to practically every predator in Africa and more often than not they get run down by lions or grabbed by crocodiles. This particular zebra though, it’s either very lucky or very smart! It found itself caught in the grasp of a hungry lioness near a watering hole. The zebra made its way towards the relative safety of the water but the lion wouldn’t give up. As it clung to the zebra for its meal, the zebra then began using its weight to push the lion under the surface! It only took a moment for the lion to realize it could be killed and it gave up its grasp to get some air. That’s all the time the zebra needed to escape!
